THE GURUISM OR THE EXTREMISM .
With the shooting incident in Vienna and it's flames burning Punjab ,which is more than 5000 kms away from the site where the shooting took place , it was proved again that , we are a very link between the religious aspect of India and the extremist aspect . We are proud to be religious , but are we also not proud to be extremists ? We actually find or wait for incidents to happen and we just go all out to throw normal life out of gear .
The kind of drama played in Punjab and witnessed by whole of the country tells us that hang on , we are looking at the new govt to reform the economy , but do we only need to reform the economy or some other things as well . Now comes the change of gaurd when we talk about our religious sentiments . These kinds of incidents are not going to help in any manner , whether your guru or your mentor has been hurt physically or somebody has said something unfair to him . Coming back to the incident in Vienna , if the people were so much hurt by the incident then they should have embarked on a flight to Vienna and took the revenge there only , but why they chose to hold voilent protest here in India ,burn trains , buses , destroy public property , becoz this has now become the part of our daily life . Are we really extremists by nature i think yes . But i believe that it has more to do with somebody encouraing us to be more voilent and destructive when these kind of situations come , and so we are slowly but surely coming into extremist mode , the theory which we have rejected for centuries .
